Do YOU do MIDI Sequencing?
Broadway II Productions is always on the lookout for Broadway based sequences to add to our catalog. If you have sequenced show music and would like to sell it to Broadway II for inclusion in our tracks offerings, please email us for info at helpwanted@bway2.com. You will be asked to provide a sample of your work, so that we can see that it meets the standards that we have set for representation in our songlist!
All sequences need to be in standard midifile format, with separate tracks assigned to all instruments, no embedded patch changes (ie: from pizz strings to arco strings, split them out on separate tracks..), and percussion instruments (ie: snare, roll, bs drum, crash, ride, etc..) split out on separate tracks, GM or Roland drum assignments. The majority of the sequence must be "played in," not step entered. Flat velocity curves are a decided no-no. If you feel you have competent work and would like info, please email us!
Also, if you are available for contract work, we'd also love to hear from you. Occasionally we'll get swamped and need additional help to get the music done!
